Refund and Returns Policy

Our promise: You can return most items within 60 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. This is in addition to your legal 14-day right to cancel online purchases under UK consumer law.

What’s free

  • Free UK returns on eligible items — we provide a prepaid returns label.

  • Faulty/incorrect items: always free to return or replaced at no cost.

Eligibility & condition

  • Items must be unused in original packaging with all labels, manuals and accessories.

  • Include your order number or receipt.

  • If handling goes beyond what’s necessary to check the item’s nature/characteristics, we may make a fair deduction for diminished value (as the law allows).

Safety-critical items (child car seats)

Because car seats are safety equipment, returns must be unused, uninstalled, and complete with all inserts/labels/documents. If a seat shows signs of installation/use, a lawful deduction may apply unless it’s faulty. (We sell only UK-legal, UN-ECE approved seats — look for R129 (i-Size) or ECE R44 on the orange approval label.)

How to start a return

  1. Email contact@aikobaby.co.uk with your order number and “refund” or “exchange”.

  2. We’ll email your prepaid UK returns label.

  3. Re-pack securely and drop off with the instructed carrier.

Refund timing & method

  • Refunds go to your original payment method (PayPal), typically within 7 business days after inspection, and no later than 14 calendar days after we receive the goods back (or proof of return). Your provider may take 1–3 business days to post funds.

Non-returnable (unless faulty)

  • Personalised items (if offered)

  • Returns beyond 60 days (your statutory rights still apply)
